well yesterday was a very long day.
first I awaken to my cell phone ringing. it is katie telling me she leaves tomorrow...meaning today now. and she'll be gone for an entire year. Katie's got a main part in my movie and i needed to finish her scenes before she left which was originally monday. so as soon as she calls me and tells me this (around 9 in the morning) i jump up and get to work.
i printed off the script and looked at my shot list and prepared everything. she had an appointment til noon, so i figured shortly thereafter we'd get going to film. but she had another at 2:30 so we couldn't film with her til after 3. which ended up being starting filming at GVSU at 4:45. in between all that Scott and I got together to discuss and sort of relax for a bit. we finally got going up to GVSU and we finished filming up there about 5:15-5:20. immediately after we go to Lesley's apartment to film more of katie's scenes..we left there about 20 to 7.
then we went to my dad's house to do a quick couple of shots inside his house and out and then a quick voice recording of katie and we were done with her. that was around 7:30 we took her back to her house so she could pack and have people over for her going away party.
after that Scott and I went back to Lesley's to finish the rest of the shots needed to be done there. which we finished with around 9:15. after that Carissa(who had been with us since we began) Scott and I all went to Steak and Shake, then dropped scott off and went to katie's party. nubia had called me back after I had called her, and she wanted to come over to katie's so we went to get her and then around midnight we left. I took carissa home and I went home to get some sleep before working today at 8.
so that was my long day. 4 and a half hours of filming in three locations all over the place: Allendale, Grandville, Cutlerville and then back to Grandville again. that's travelling and filming at all of those locations in 4 and a half hours....I couldn't believe how fast everything went. isn't M-6 wonderful?
well that's it for today. in coming weeks I'm going to be working a lot til I leave for a couple of weeks with my dad to get a car from his mom out in Arizona. within the next few weeks I should be done with the filming of my movie...I hope.
